#1 Odsall (tarmac) early '80s bradford with the tar strip, the long straights, the long square corners.....sat as it does in a hole in the ground (its a reclaimed landfill site chaps!), and in that hole in the ground those v8...non-silencered...enginges echo'd around...and in that hole in the ground every single spectator.......average over 10,000 (!!!!!!)....on a Fri night!.... looked down with a perfect view of the track....and the cheers and airhorns also echo'd......IN THE PERFECT ARENA FOR F1 STOCK CARS.
so yeah, Odsall - tarmac for me!
Dont really know how to follow that, but...
#2 Cleethorpes, first started watching F2/bangers there in the early '80s, but the 3 F1 meetings they ran in '86 were outstanding (check out binnsy's vids on allstox)....clee could have gone on to be as highly rated as Aycliffe as a tar action track in my opinion!
